The Pepper Hamilton law firm continues to expand its White Collar and Corporate Investigations practice with the addition of another federal prosecutor. This time, Richard J. Zack, who has been with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for a dozen years, has joined the firm as a partner. Zack (pictured) currently is chief of commercial and consumer fraud and deputy chief of economic crimes, supervising 20 federal prosecutors.
Stetson University College of Law and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) are launching the NACDL White Collar Criminal Defense College at Stetson, the first program of its kind. The first session of this training for criminal defense lawyers is slated for early 2012.
David M. Rody, a former Unit Chief of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, has become a partner in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP. Rody’s practice will focus on white collar, investigative, compliance and enforcement matters, including those involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

One lawyer who landed on his feet is John Nields, a white collar criminal defense litigator who is joining the Washington, D.C., office of Covington & Burling LLP.
