Madoff Trustee, On 60 Minutes Sunday Night, Says He Is Targeting Madoff’s Relatives
Many of the victims of the Madoff Ponzi scheme will be setting their TIVO to record “60 Minutes” tomorrow night, as Yom Kippur begins. The reason: Madoff trustee Irving Picard and his chief counsel David Sheehan will be speaking with Morley Safer in their first television interview.
According to CBS, Picard is about to bring suit against Madoff’s two sons, Madoff’s brother, and a niece. Picard tells Safer: "Whether or not they have a criminal problem we will pursue them as far as we can pursue them and if that leads to bankrupting them, then that's what will happen."
