Paul Weiss Partner And White Collar Crime Defense Lawyer Ted Wells Advising N.Y. Governor Paterson

Theodore V. Wells Jr. (pictured), a partner in the Paul Weiss law firm and a well-known and highly regarded white collar criminal defense lawyer, is now advising N.Y. Governor David Paterson. Paterson’s Yankees tickets problem (see http://www.financialfraudlaw.com/lawblog/end-coming-new-york-governor-paterson-straw-that%E2%80%99s-breaking-camel%E2%80%99s-back-yankees-tickets/788) presents the governor with a legal problem of some urgency. The continuing drop in his support suggests a political problem as well. 

It may be worthy of note that Wells also counseled former N.Y. Governor Eliot Spitzer before his resignation.
