Dowd’s Comment On Rajaratnam Guilty Verdict

Raj Rajaratnam’s attorney, mega-star John Dowd, issued a much briefer statement following Rajaratnam’s conviction on insider trading charges than U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara did. Here’s what Dowd (pictured) had to say: 

“This is only round one. We are going to take an appeal of this conviction. We started out with 37 stocks and we are down to 14. The score is 23-14 in favor of the defense. We will see you in the Second Circuit.”
