Where Are Baum’s Mortgage Foreclosure Cases Going?

When the New York-based mortgage foreclosure law firm, Steven J. Baum P.C., closed down, nobody should realistically have expected that the foreclosure cases the firm was handling would just disappear. In fact, we cited mortgage foreclosures as the No. 4 Financial Fraud Law issue of the year. And now, the New York Law Journal, in an article by Andrew Keshner, has a very informative report explaining where the Baum cases have landed.

As Keshner writes, one new firm, Gross, Polowy & Orlans, with ties to the Baum firm, has picked up 800 cases. According to the Journal, other firms handling cases that Baum handled include Frenkel Lambert Weiss Weisman & Gordon in Manhattan; Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates of Plainview; Fein, Such & Crane of Rochester; Shapiro, DiCaro & Barak of Rochester; and McCabe, Weisberg & Conway of Philadelphia and New Rochelle.
