White Collar Litigation Partner Amy Conway-Hatcher Joins Kaye Scholer’s D.C. Office
Litigator and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Amy Conway-Hatcher has joined Kaye Scholer as a white collar litigation and internal investigations partner in Kaye Scholer’s office in Washington, D.C.
Formerly a partner at Morgan Lewis, Conway-Hatcher (pictured) has a background in government and internal investigations, particularly relating to advising clients on the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA), securities fraud and healthcare fraud. She represents clients involved in complex and sensitive corporate internal investigations, as well as criminal and civil enforcement matters before the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal and state regulators. She also regularly counsels clients, including boards of directors, audit committees and corporate level executives on matters related to the development, implementation, evaluation and auditing of internal compliance and ethics programs, as well as compliance issues related to corporate policies, M&A and investment matters and third party due diligence.
Conway-Hatcher graduated from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law and clerked for Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly before spending six years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, where she served in an elite trial unit investigating, conducted myriad grand jury investigations and served as lead trial counsel in dozens of complex criminal trials. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and before the US Supreme Court.
